Percocet has Acetaminophen and Oxycodone in it. OxyIR and Percocet are both CII medications. OxyIR is the oxycodone. OxyIR plain Oxycodone.

It should have been a CIII at best (because I don't think it is as strong as OxyIR or the others). It is my personal belief that Tapentadol(Nucynta) should not have been a CII narcotic.

The FDA (in their wisdom, you know the people who wanted to get rid of concentrated morphine that we use in hospice patients, get rid of Percocet and Vicodin, yes those geniuses) made it a CII while really it should be a CIII narcotic.
