To dmyanez, Tramadol has reportedly had adverse effects on patients with sleep apnoea, affecting the quality of breathing.

Hi, Tramadol doesn't mix well with alcohol, if you feel that you want to continue drinking beer i would suggest you ask for an alternative analgesic.
50 mgs of tramadol is equal to 1 Tylenol#3, pretty weak stuff but be careful as tramadol is very addictive and can cause siezures when you take to much.

Please think very hard before taking. I'm now taking myself off it slowly. I was only taking one tablet each morning and sometimes one at night if the pain was bad.
5mg Hydrocodone. Which in turn would equal approx. 33mg Codeine, roughly a Tylenol #3. I personally liked Tramadol over Codeine until I got used to stronger opiates. You might want to check around, for a while Walmart and Target both had Tramadol covered in there $4 prescription program, 60 tablets.

I know docs get worried about putting people on opiods b/c of addiction but muscle relaxers can b very addictive 2, and beleive it or not so can tramadol.
Avatar n tn I am unsure what the differences are totally but I do know that tramadol has NO tylenol in it. Well I think certain tram's do but straight tramadol 50mg does not. I also know that they too can be addictive. Tramadol is an atypical opioid which is a centrally acting analgesic, used for treating moderate to severe pain.
Tylenol #3 (Acetaminophen / Codeine) Prescription only. Treats moderate to severe pain. Ultram (tramadol) works well for pain. Although it's a little weaker than other opioids, it can still be addictive.
